THE MONOPUSHER CHRONOGRAPH
While once the standard in chronograph design, monopusher chronographs have become something of a cult icon in watchmaking today. The design was evolved from pocket watch chronographs for one-handed control onto wristwatches, popular until the two-pusher design was developed for easier operation on the wrist. With its asymmetric format, monopusher chronographs today are eye-catching timepieces on the wrist .
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
The MP45 comes packed in a peli case with four straps — a black leather two-piece strap, an additional rubber strap, a nylon NATO and a French calfskin handstitched vintage brown leather strap from Revolution.
THE BROAD ARROW
"The Broad Arrow was a specific label used by the British Ministry of Defence to easily identify watches that had been issued by them to soldiers during the war. During that period, only such watches could be used for military operation purposes as they were deemed to be sturdy and accurate enough to meet operational needs. Although it's not a protected label, as Vertex was a watchmaker approved by the MoD during WWII, it shares that heritage.
FOR THE BOOKS
